# NIVRA — 18+ and Age-Assurance Standard 1.2

The front-door “I am 18+” control is a concise content notice only. It never unlocks adult photos, videos, adult feed, messages or purchases.

## Safe-shell model
An account may be created and the person may navigate non-explicit product structure before verification. There is no arbitrary seven-day deadline and no dead-end screen. Adult media and adult interaction remain technically gated until verification is approved.

## Verification flow
1. the account privately records date of birth at registration;
2. the verification page requests civil name, a photo-ID image and a current selfie;
3. selfie can be captured with the camera or selected from the gallery;
4. creator accounts may optionally add a short video when useful for review;
5. encrypted evidence is stored outside the public web directory;
6. central authorized staff must reauthenticate before opening the verification vault;
7. staff approve/reject adult status and the access is audit logged;
8. content moderation cannot publish creator profiles/media/posts/stories until the responsible account has verified adult status.

## Privacy rules
- civil identity is never automatically copied into the public profile;
- verification evidence is not used for recommendations or advertising;
- regional operators do not receive verification-vault access;
- only the minimum operational data should be retained;
- larger-scale production should use a specialist age-assurance provider after legal, privacy and security due diligence.

The production operator must revalidate the final process against current Brazilian requirements and ANPD guidance before launch and after material regulatory changes.
